Privacy Policy

This policy covers askmyalpha.com, applications, and our work building a client's Alpha. Ask My Alpha is responsible for application data. Each coach is responsible for their own student platform and its privacy notice.

What we collect

The application collects your name, email, phone number, who the Alpha is for, whether that person will consent when relevant, content sources, budget answer, and what you want it to do. It also sends campaign parameters, the referring page, submission time, country from Cloudflare's request information, and browser user agent. We do not save your full IP address in the application record. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and security logs to operate and protect the site.

We also keep messages you send us. Do not include payment details, government IDs, health information, student records, or private recordings in your application.

How we use it

We assess your application, contact you about it, arrange onboarding if you proceed, and protect the service from misuse. Submitting an application does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We do not use your answers for targeted advertising or automated decisions with legal effects.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides website hosting and application storage. Google Workspace provides our email. If enabled, Slack receives a short application summary for our team, including your contact details, budget answer, content sources, and part of your requested use. Providers process information to deliver their services under their applicable terms.

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising across services. We disclose information only to service providers, advisers who need it, or where required by law or to protect people's rights.

Your client's platform

Client content stays in the client's accounts. We configure AI providers so they do not train their models on that content. Only authorized providers needed to answer questions or deliver agreed features process it. Voice services may process a consenting coach's voice. Before loading content, we remove material the coach marks off limits. We do not load health, payment, or ID details. The coach controls access, retention, and student requests on their platform.

Retention and security

Application records in Cloudflare storage expire after 730 days. We may delete them sooner on request. Related emails and optional Slack summaries are reviewed for deletion within 24 months after last contact unless a client relationship or a legal obligation requires retention. Client retention is set in the signed agreement and the coach's platform notice. A deletion request also covers copies held in our email and Slack.

We use encrypted connections and restrict staff access. No system is perfectly secure. We tell you if we must keep limited records for legal reasons and remove them when that reason ends.

GDPR basics

Where applicable, we rely on steps you request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in secure operations, and legal obligations. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or object to processing, subject to applicable conditions. You can complain to your local data protection authority.

California rights: Do not sell or share

Where the CCPA or CPRA applies, you may ask to know, access, correct, or delete your personal information, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share it for advertising. Email us with the subject Do not sell or share to record your preference. We do not discriminate against people for exercising privacy rights. An authorized agent may contact us for you.

Requests and international processing

Email team@askmyalpha.com or follow our Data Deletion process. We may verify identity proportionately for access or deletion, but do not require identity verification for an opt out. We respond within 30 days. Providers may process data in other countries; we use appropriate contractual safeguards where required.

Essential storage and age limits

There are no advertising pixels, analytics tools, or nonessential cookies on this site. See our Cookie Policy. Our site and Alpha services are for adults aged 18 and over. If a minor submits information, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes and contact

We update the date above when this notice changes. Contact team@askmyalpha.com about privacy, complaints, or a request for help.

Onboarding progress

Onboarding collects company and contact details, account setup choices, content links, AI budget settings and meeting preferences. Progress is stored in your browser and in Cloudflare under a random ID in your setup link. Anyone with that link can reopen the setup, so share it only with your team. Saved progress expires after two years without a save. To request deletion, email team@askmyalpha.com with your setup link. Do not enter passwords, API keys, payment details or private member records.
